Anyone But Her by Erica Lee

⭐⭐⭐☆

This is the complete chicklit package – with a great cover. It has a fake relationship (but not between the MCs), super-religious parents, closeted kids, huge family, madness in the denouement and a happy ending. Nice!

Reagan Cooper and Jamie Miller have been friends since eternity. The two BFFs are both gay, albeit of the opposite genders. Jamie’s family is super-conservative and he doesn’t see a way to come out to them. In a moment of weakness, he claims Reagan is his girlfriend and commits to bringing her home when he visits for five weeks. Out and proud, Reagan is not happy being passed off as his girlfriend but the friendship means enough for her to do it. What she doesn’t expect is that Jamie has a twin. A twin sister. A twin sister to whom Reagan is madly attracted. Jamie’s twin, Charlie (Charlotte) is also gay. Also in the closet. But more willing and wanting to come out than her brother.

This book is short, funny (when needed), with a dash of drama and good chemistry between the MCs. Reagan and Charlie are immediately likeable which surely helps.

All in all a light, entertaining and fun read.
