Unexpectedly, with this book, the series lost steam. The couple,
Tess and Brooke are in the everyday busyness of life – bringing up tweens with
individual personalities, careers, and trying for a baby in addition to the
difficult relationship with Tess’ mom and other regular.
The best thing we can say about this book is that we like
Tess better and better as we read the series.
This book seemed too long and too tedious. This, coming from
a reader who was totally invested in the couple and the series.
Our recommendation: read parts 1 to 3 of this series and then
get onto something else.
