Silhouette by Robin Hale

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Madly romantic and wildly fun, this is an extremely well written enjoyable romp into fantasy with romance jumping out of the pages.

Opal City has enhanced humans and is a totally action packed place. They have their own local flying hero called Captain Colossal. Dr. Molly Fawn is the voice in the hero’s ear giving him tactical support and really, doing all the thinking for him. Then there is Silhouette, the city’s most accomplished and notorious thief. During a ‘mission’ when Fawn is guiding Colossal through a break-in, she is surprised by the sexy, leather clad Silhouette dropping into her room and setting her heart aflutter even as they face-off. The do-gooder and unapologetic thief have an attraction that refuses to be ignored.

We totally love both the MCs. Fawn and Silhouette are such great characters – immensely likeable, strong and amazing together. The chemistry and attraction between them is fantastic. And Silhouette is just so romantic (Fawn matches the emotion, but grand gestures are a weakness for us).

The book pulled us in from the first page and didn’t let go of the hold right till the end. Thoroughly enjoyable and definitely recommended.
