⭐⭐⭐⭐
Romeo and Juliet retold in a modern, lesbian tale
which is thoroughly involving and sexy.
Nora is player and intends staying that way. She has no need
or inclination for a long-term or committed relationship. One-night or a
few-night stands work very well for her, thank you. That is, till she meets
Geraldine (Ger) and on first sight declares Ger to be her future wife. (Love-at-first-sight
and insta-love are our weaknesses because we firmly believe in them.) Nora and
Ger a moving along steadily in their relationship, till their last names come
into play. Kelly and Flannery, respectively, two families who are sworn enemies
going back to a three-generation old feud. Both are faced with a choice between
love and family. They can only have one of the two.
This novella is sexy, hot and the MCs thoroughly likeable. It
is a completely feel-good romance and a short, quick read.
